Charles Glen Williams, age 61, died peacefully of natural causes on October 24, 2023 after a brief but intense battle with Cancer.
Chuck is survived by his mother, Ruth Garrett of Casper, Siblings Pam Jerke of Cheyenne, Teresa Weeks of Shelley, ID, Wes Williams (Lona) of Casper, Mark Williams (Lynda) of Casper, Jim Thompson of Albany, OR, A daughter Tana Hane of Lakeland Florida, grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, Vinal Williams, a sister Julie Galloway, and a beloved nephew Tim Williams.
Chuck was born in Rexburg, Idaho to Vinal and Ruth on February 28, 1962. He grew up as the family traveled and worked around the western United States and spent time living in Idaho, Utah, and Washington. In 1979 Chuck moved to Wyoming and began working in construction and the oil industry until he quickly found his direction and passion as a welder. He attended a trade school and worked for several companies through the years and also proudly had his own welding rig and business.
Chuck truly loved traveling and his career took him several places around the western states. He loved building things and working on whatever vehicle he had at the time. He enjoyed all outdoor activities including hunting, fishing, camping, and gold prospecting. The more remote and away from civilization he was the more he enjoyed it. Along with those activities he enjoyed just exploring and there was probably not a back road or byway that he hadn't been on in Wyoming although some short trips unintentionally turned into all day or even weekend excursions.
He had a big heart and was always willing to help his family.
No services will be held at this time as was his wish. Cremation will take place and his ashes will be shared and spread at his favorite locations across Wyoming.
