He attended school in Casper through the 8th grade moving to Montana to join the Civilian Conservation Corp before enlisting in the Marines at the age of 17. While on leave from the Marines he met the love of his life, Evelyn. They were married on her 21st birthday, February 25th, 1946 at her parents' home in Parkerton, Wyoming. Chuck and Evelyn had 3 children Terry, Ronnie and Barbara.
Chuck worked for Aamco Refinery for 35 years, was a member of the Elks and enjoyed dancing, fishing, travelling, listening to country music and spending time with loved ones. He was fortunate enough to spend time at both his homes, winters in Arizona and summers at Alcova Lake for many years.
Our beloved father, grandfather, great grand farther, companion and brother was easy to love. He was always honest, worked hard, was dedicated to his family and friends, and never seemed to meet a stranger. After the passing of his wife Evelyn, he enjoyed the companionship of Mrs. Jane Fuller. Chuck always made the women in his life feel respected and honored, which made him easy to love and spoil.
Chuck was survived by his sister, Virginia Forsberg of Sheridan, 2 children, Terry & Judy Rinker of Laramie, Barbara Bowers of Casper; 3 grandchildren, Shannon & Weston Poste , Kelly & Paul Dailey, and Shane and Jennifer Rinker all of Casper and 3 great grandsons, Garret, Dawson and Hudson.
