Funeral services for Charles Dean Patterson of Cheyenne, Wyoming will be held at 1:00pm Monday June 11, 2007, at Casper Alliance Church with Elder Tom Bichel officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Park Cemetery. Visitation will be at Newcomer Family Funeral Home & Crematory Saturday and Sunday from 9:00am to 6:00pm
Charles died suddenly June 3, 2007 in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
Charles was born March 8, 1972 in Fort Riley, Kansas to Georgia (Washenfelder) Patterson. The family moved to Casper when Charles was 1 and a half years old. He attended Evansville Elementary, Dean Morgan Jr. High and Kelly Walsh High School. He married Kelly Gould in Casper, Wyoming on October 16, 1993, and Divorced in March 1996.
Twelve years ago he moved to Cheyenne, Wyoming with his two sons and Lila his soul mate for the last 12 years. At the time of his death, he was working at the Frontier Refinery in Cheyenne, where he has been employed for many years.
He was a devoted son, brother, father, uncle and friend. He loved his family, his friends along with fishing, hunting, his dog and boxing.
Surviving family includes; his mother Georgia, his dad Bill, 2 sons, Blake and Brady, 2 brothers, Kenny and Steve, 3 sisters, Heidi, Elizabeth and Leslie-Dawn. 1 Uncle Charles, Grandfather Fred, Nieces, Kellie-Lynn and Cyrina, nephews, William, Brock, Christopher, Danny, Asa and Bryan. The boy's mother Kelli, sister-in-law Marla, brother-in-law Scott, all of whom reside in Casper.
Surviving family also includes; his soul mate Lila, 3 step-sons, Brock, Chase and Jacob. 4 grandchildren, Brock Jr., Baylor, Chase Jr. and Shayla. Daughter-in-law's, Linda and Kathy along with Lila's parents Leon & Gloria Grimm all of whom reside in Cheyenne, Wyoming also including many friends in Cheyenne and Casper.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother and grandfather, as well as his maternal great grandparents-Honey and Pappy.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Newcomer Family Funeral Home & Crematory in Casper, Wyoming.
Charles's Love and loyalty were beyond anything that can be described. He had a huge heart and lived his life for family and friends. We love you Charles and we know you will always be with us.
