Cathy entered into her earthly life on March 1, 1957 in Kirksville, MO.
She passed into her eternal life on January 1, 2018 under the watch of the Full Wolf Moon, in Casper, Wy.
Cathy was raised in Kirksville, Missouri and graduated from The Kirksville High School. She married the love of her life, Mike Metz, on July 18, 1976 and they moved to Casper, Wyoming to start their life together. From that union her one and only child, son Michael, was born.
Being the kind and compassionat lady that she was, Cathy went to Casper College and graduated from the Nursing Progrm as a Registered Nurse. She worked at Wyoming Medical Center for a number of years on the Surgical floor, 4th Center. After leaving the hospital employment, she worked at various other medical facilitys in Casper until her retirement in 2014.
Cathy was quick witted and had a dry, mischievous sense of humor. Her favorite animal was the Wolf. She loved going on drives with her husband and watching television at night with him. She had a fondness for Vampire movies, whether old or new. Cathy was a very honest and decent woman. She was astute in her day to day life and in her personal beliefs. She enjoyed living a simple life. She often stated that her greatest enjoyment in life were her 3 Grandkids.
Cathy is survived by her husband of 42 years, Mike. Her Son, Michael and his wife, Breanne. Three Grandchildren, Adam and twins, Weston and Mackenna, all of Casper, WY. Her parents, Vernell and Henrietta Wilson of Kirksville, MO. Brother Dennis Wilson of West DesMoines, IA, Brother Eddie Wilson of Kirksville, MO and sister Janet (John) Brummit of Waukee, IA. She had numerous nieces and nephews and friends who will
undoubtedly miss her.
