Carroll Lou Fuller Propp, 66, passed away peacefully at Central Wyoming Hospice on Sunday, January 8, 2012 due to renal failure.
Carroll was the first born to Helen Lucia Fuller and Everett C. Fuller on April 22, 1945 in Casper, Wyoming. Two years later her brother Ronald Everett arrived to complete the family.
Carroll attended Garfield Elementary School, Dean Morgan Junior High, and graduated from NCHS in 1963. On January 22, 1966 she married her life long best friend and loyal supporter Perry Allen Propp. Perry was in the Army and stationed in Korea. Carroll followed and spent a year in Korea. After Perry was discharged they relocated to Southern California. At that time Carroll continued her education and received her degree and Masters in Literature from USC. They spent the next twelve years in California before returning to Casper.
Upon returning to Wyoming Carroll was employed as Traffic Director for KATI Radio, and K2 Radio. Later she was employed with Frank Pendleton Farmers Insurance. With her mother-in-law Rachel Propp she established Book Peddler Book Store in Sunrise Shopping Center. After selling the book store she worked at the Natrona County Public Library until she retired due to health concerns.
She is survived by her husband Perry of 46 years and her three beloved pets, Valentine, Calvin, and McKenzie, her cousins Jill Angel and Robert Bingham both of California. Her adopted family Jamie, Scott, Tanner, and Kalie Warren of Casper, Steve and Ruthie Propp of Casper and Pat & Karen Hagood of California as well as many nieces and nephews.
Carroll was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Ron.
FUNERAL SERVICES: Funeral Services for Carroll will be held on Saturday, January 14th at 10:00 AM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 710 E. 2nd St., Casper, WY. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 13th from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Burial will follow at Highland Park Cemetery at the family plot.
