Carolyn L. Pitt was a dedicated wife, mother, and friend. Carolyn L. Pitt was born on June 22, 1948 to Harry L. Taylor and Frances L. (Roberts) Taylor in Jackson, Wyoming. At 15 years old she moved to Lander, Wyoming where she met Ronnie Pitt. She graduated in 1966 from Lander Valley High School and worked at the Wyoming State Training School. She then moved to Washington State and married Ronnie Pitt on January 21, 1967. She had her first child, Robbie, while in Washington, Duwayne in Riverton, and Christine and Brian in Casper. She also raised her little brother Allen and several grandchildren along the way. Most of her married life, she lived in various places as the family followed the oilfield. Carolyn passed away in her home surrounded by her family on June 17, 2020.
After 53 years of Marriage she is survived by her husband Ronnie Pitt, children Robbie and Della Pitt, Duwayne and Mary Pitt, Christine and Danny Evans, and Brian Pitt. Along with 19 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, four brother in laws and their wives, two sister in laws and their husbands, and many nieces and nephews.
Carolyn is proceeded in death by her mother, father, her brothers Stephen and Allen, multiple aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was a dedicated wife, mother, and friend. She loved her family and friends. She had a fulfilling life full of love and laughter. Her love and laughter will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
