Carol Ann Marsh, age 86 of Casper passed away peacefully on August I I, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. Carol Ann's Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, August 24th, 2024 at 10:30 am at Faith Bible Chapel, 504 North Forest Drive, Casper, WY 82609.
Mom, as she was affectionately known, was born January 2, 1938 in Sugar Run, Pennsylvania to Samuel E and Helen (Rought) Dyer. Carol Ann graduated high school in 1957, married in 1959, divorced in 1969 and moved to California that same year. Carol Ann worked at CalComp as an assembler. On December 24, 1978, she married William (Bill) Marsh who stole her heart, she would say he was truly her gift. They would move to Yucca Valley, California in 1973. She trained with Visiting Nurses Association and became a Home Health Provider. Carol Ann loved her work and cared for many interesting people like Ginger Rogers, the Grand Lady. In 1993, Carol Ann and Bill moved to Wyoming to be near their family. In 1995, they sat on several different boards. Governor's Planning on Developmental Disabilities, AARP State Legislative Committee member involved with America Disabilities Act. These were some of the boards she and Bill were involved with. Both were called into Harvestime Prison Ministries Newsletter and had been there for over 20 years. Carol Ann served as Chaplain for the Natrona County Detention Center for 5 years.
The Harvestime Prison Ministries Newsletter and later Card Ministry was her balance between Heaven and Earth. Her discipleship was to bring Glory to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. She was a loving and caring wife, MOM and friend to all she met. Carol Ann would always be ready to pray with anyone and willing to give all that she had. She loved Jesus and she loved people.
She was preceded in death by Bill, her husband of 40 years, her parent's Sam and Helen Dyer, her sister Kay Jane, brothers Wilson and Mahlon, and daughter-in-law Peaches Marsh and Barbara Howe. Carol Ann is survived by son Lee (Cindy) Marsh. daughters Robyn (EJ) Ridgway, Crystal (Joey) Norton, Robert Howe and Honorary Children Sheryl (Theodore) Duffy, Larry Stewart, Coralee (Robert) Seitz, John (Sherri) Herman, Toni (Gary) Lynn, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Along with her family, MOM had so many "kids" she couldn't count them all!
