CASPER -- Services for Carol Hunter, 77, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 7, 2008, at Newcomer Family Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Burnett of First United Methodist Church officiating.
Viewing is Monday from 10 a.m. until the service.
She died Jan. 2, 2008, at Central Wyoming Hospice Home.
She was born Aug. 20, 1930, in Pesotum, Ill., the daughter of Noah and Katherine (During) Taylor.
She was raised in Illinois, graduating from Champaign High School.
She worked in retail as a bookkeeper.
She married Leland Keith Hunter on Sept. 17, 1955.
They lived in Illinois for 23 years before moving to Casper in 1978.
Her husband was an accountant for an oil field service company and she helped out whenever she was needed.
Her hobbies were sewing, gardening and cooking. She loved spending time with her family.
She will be truly missed by all of the lives she touched.
Survivors include her husband of Casper, two daughters and their husbands, Debbie K. Petley of Casper and Pamela K.Erickson of Henderson, Nev.; a son, Jeffrey K. Hunter and his wife of Casper; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and four nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorials may be made to Central Wyoming Hospice, 319 S. Wilson, Casper, 82601.
Newcomer Family Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.
