Carol Renée "Mimi' Hayes, age 63, of Casper, passed away January 28, 2017. Renée was born September 3, 1953 in Ganado, TX to Bradley and Rebecca (Davenport) Stromme. Renée graduated from the Texas Department of Corrections Academy in 1984 and was in their service for 3 years. She was an excellent shot. She operated her own child care business from 2004 until her passing and touched many families. Renée married her husband Tom on March 15, 1984 and they enjoyed 32 beautiful years of marriage. Family was everything to Renée. Her children and grandchildren were her world. Renée was very active and supportive of her children and grandchildren and their interests. Holidays and family gatherings were especially important to her. Renée was a music lover and enjoyed anything that she could tap her foot to. This is an attribute that she passed on to her children and grandchildren. Renée's unconditional and selfless love extended to anyone who passed through her life. She did not know the meaning of the word "stranger". Renée "Mimi's" light will live on forever in her children and grandchildren.

Renée is survived by her father, Bradley Stromme, loving husband, Tom Hayes, son, Shannon (Andee) Bialas, daughter, Cecilia (Kris) Maher, daughter, Katrina (Nate) Zook, daughter, Tessa (Clinton Dotson) Hayes, grandchildren; Tamala, Thomas, Logan, Alexander, Shelbie, Bradley and Lochlain Renee, sisters; Linda (Rick) Mundy, Dawn (Elliott) Allen, Joy (Brian) Hughes, brother, Brian (Tammy) Stromme, along with numerous other family members. Renee is preceded in death by her mother Rebecca, step-mother Donna, and brother Bradley Jr.

A Celebration of Renée's Life will be held Saturday February 11, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 710 E. 2nd St., Casper Wy, followed by a Reception at Casper Recreation Center, 1801 E. 4th St., Casper, Wy. from 3:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice in Renée's memory.
