Carol Jean Dike, 88, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Sept 22, 2016 at Central Wyoming Hospice in the loving hands of the CWHT Angels.

Jean was born in Pawnee City Nebraska on Nov 24, 1927 to Hamlet Emanuel (Pate) and Ellen Ione (McKnight) Mangnall, the oldest of 2 children. After graduating high school in 1945 she moved to Rawlins WY to work in the hospital. Shortly there after, she met the love of her life, James Dike at a barn dance near the Sun Ranch. After their wedding in Scottsbluff Nebraska they made their home in Casper, living at the same address for 63 years and married for 66 years. Jean was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and was a joy to all.

During her earlier years raising her 4 children, Jean worked as a Celebrity Jewelry sales woman becoming their top salesperson in 1974. Jean also worked as a real estate agent and broker for several agency's in Casper and became the President of MLS in 1987. Jean was an avid bowler and followed her 3 sons through their youth baseball as the announcer and score keeper at each one of their games.

Jean is survived by 2 sons, John (Jane Ampe) (Casper), Micheal (Auburn, WA) and 1 daughter Joan (Ray) Demke (Salt Lake City, UT). She was preceded in death by her husband, James Sr., son, James Jr., parents, Hamlet & Ellen Mangnall, and brother, Vernon Mangnall. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Central Wyoming Hospice.

A Memorial Service will be held for Jean at 2 p.m., Tuesday Sept 27th, 2016 at Oregon Trail State Veterans Cemetery Chapel with the Reverend Dan Odell presiding.
