The passing and loss of Candice Lee Wartick on April 15, 2023 is a total shock, but knowing she now knows the existence of the saving, merciful, and everlasting God and is in the company of past loved ones.
Born May 12, 1969 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada to mom, Shirley Dianne Wartick and dad, Curtis Wartick, Candice lived most of her life in Casper, Wyoming. She excelled in academics, having earned a doctorate in occupational therapy. She was an outstanding figure skater and coach, held the Kelly Walsh High School track record in the 4 x 800 for many years. Candice was gifted with her mom's artistic talents in painting and fashion design. She was an animal lover and cared for many people in her life.
Candice was preceded in death by grandson, Heston Wray-Ross; and mom, Shirley Dianne Wartick.
Candice's surviving family includes her Casper, Wyoming family: daughter, Payton (Coleten) Wray-Ross; son, Sterling Baker; father of her children, Kenny Baker; and father, Curt Wartick.
Canadian Aunts and Uncles, Barbara & Gordon McArthur; Kathy & Cal McLauchlin; and Peggy & Mark Merstorf; all of Calgary, Alberta; Linda & Jim Davidson of Nakusp, British Columbia. Along with many Canadian cousins.
Her life was dedicated to her children and family. Along with helping many people along the way, as she was such a giving person. We hope that she may rest in peace and find comfort.
