Camilla Cardenas, 76, was born on June 18, 1937 in Clayton, New Mexico to Teresina and Malaques Ulibarri. She passed away on May 27, 2014. She married Mike Cardenas and they had 4 children. They later divorced and she remained single the rest of her life.
In her early years she was a stay at home mom until moving to Casper, Wyoming in 1972. She worked as a housekeeper and then a phlebotomist at Wyoming Medical Center for 23 years. She also worked as a translator for the hospital helping many and making lasting friendships. Our mother loved to help others. She lived for those she loved and those she loved remember.
Survivors include her children, Timothy (Barb) Cardenas, Michael (Jeannie) Cardenas, Judy (Kevin) Costalez; 7 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her infant son, Dicky; parents; and numerous other relatives.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Casper in Camilla's name.
