Bryan Ramsey, Jr. "Punk" was born Feb. 26, 1928, in Brighton, CO, to William J. and Eva Marie Ramsey. He attended school in Hot Springs County. He served during WWII in the US Maritime Service. He was discharged May 23, 1946.
He owned a lumber yard and was a contractor in the building industry for many years in Thermopolis. He loved gardening and grew some fine gardens south of town. He also loved camping and fishing with family and friends.
He was married to Juanita Dockery Oct. 12, 1946, in Thermopolis. He is survived by his wife of 66 years; one brother Donny Ramsey; one sister Dixie Good; four sons Alton, Mike and wife Glenda, Rusty, and Brandon and wife Debra; six grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Gerald, Garland, and Leland Ramsey.
Visitation will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, May 25 until service time. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. at the Risen Son Southern Baptist Church, 342 Amoretti St., Thermopolis. In lieu of flowers, please donate in Bryan Ramsey's name to The Risen Son Baptist Church or St. Joseph's Children's Hospital.
