Bruce McDonald, 75, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 16, 2015 at Wyoming Medical Center.
He was born June 25, 1939 to the late Ralph and late Pearl (Mihalski) of Newcastle, WY graduating from Newcastle High School in 1957.
In 1958 he married Bev Bartling and to this union was born two children, son Randy and daughter Rhonda. Moving to Denver, CO., Bruce worked writing and revising top secret design manuals for the Titan Missile program. Eventually returning to Wyoming, he worked as a Geophysical Logging Engineer and Electronics Engineer for various companies in the Energy Industry. In 1983 he started Strata Data, Inc., a geophysical logging company.
Having only semi-retired, he also enjoyed being a key member and treasurer of the Casper Amateur Radio Club, making many good friends there.
In his later years, Bruce played a key role in the capture, rehabilitation and homing of many of Casper's stray and feral cat population.
He is survived by: his wife of almost 57 years Bev, son Randy (Frances) of Casper, daughter Rhonda of Casper, grandsons, Shaun Tipton, of Casper. Erik Tipton of Greeley, CO and Ethan Hennek of NAF Atsugi, Japan, brother Pat (Francine) of Anchorage, AK and numerous nieces and nephews.
