Bruce Cameron Coleman, 80, passed away Friday, April 24th, 2009 in Casper surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Auburn, Nebraska, February 21st, 1929 to loving parents Harvey and Aimee Coleman. He was raised in Wheatland, Wy. He served in the military for 27 years. He was a Laramie Police Officer, a Wyoming Highway Patrol officer, and a Casper Fire Fighter. He spent his life in the service of others. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and had various callings in the church. His favorite was being a faithful home teacher.
He married Norma R Schofield on July 29, 1956 in Evanston and their marriage was later solemnized in the Ogden Temple.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, his sister, Idy Bramlet of Wheatland, daughter, Jaimee Mena of Casper, sons, Tod (Kathi) of Casper, Sandy (Kristen) of Grero, UT, 12 Grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren.
Services will be held Thursday, April 30, 2009 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 3931 W. 45th St, Casper. The viewing will be at 10:00 am, services at 11:00 am. Interment will be at the Oregon Trails State Veterans Cemetery.
