Funeral services for Braxton Adam Hedquist 26 will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, November 29, 2012, at Restoration Fellowship Church at 411 South Walsh Drive with burial to follow at Highland Cemetery. Viewing will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday Evening from 6 to 7pm. Braxton passed away Wednesday, November 21st, 2012.
Braxton was born in Casper Wyoming on May 25, 1986 to Craig and Michele Hedquist. Braxton Hedquist graduated from Kelly Walsh High School in 2006. After graduation he left for Fort Jackson SC and the US Army Reserves. After his training he returned to Wyoming where he worked construction and positions in the oil field.
Braxton will be remembered for his exuberant smile. He enjoyed the company of his family and friends and he loved being outdoors camping, snowmobiling, and jet skiing. He also loved to travel and find good concerts.
Braxton is survived by his parents, Craig and Michele Hedquist; brothers, Paul and Samson, and sister Aryn Hedquist; Braxton's love, Shawna Zimmer; nephew Samuel Luke Hedquist; grandmothers, Arliss Hedquist and Sharon Fern Carlin. He also leaves behind Uncles Brandt(Tonya) and their children Trevor and Gabriella; Cort(Kelly Black)and children Elisa, Aralyn,and Brooklynn; Nathan(Michelle) and their sons Xander and Mason Hedquist; Allen Johnson and his daughters Tress and Kylie, all of Casper; Jeff(Kathy)Wada of Phoenix AZ; Aunts Jammi Hedquist(Kirk Boyer) of Denver, CO and Shirley(Tom) Tietz of Fargo, ND; as well as many, many, cousins and friends.
Braxton was preceded in death by his sister Madison Ann Hedquist, cousin Adam Hedquist, grandfathers Paul Hedquist and Gabriel Wada, great-grandparents Andy and Fern Michael, Gabe and Dorthey Wada, and great-grandfather Louis A. Johnson.
