Brandon R. Middaugh

December 28, 1983 — January 11, 2021

Brandon went home to be with the Lord on January 11th 2021. He passed away very unexpectedly and our hearts are broken. Our comfort is in the knowledge that he is healthy again and is in the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Brandon was born on December 28th, 1983. He was lovingly welcomed by his adoptive parents Vicky Closson and Ronald Middaugh. He attended local schools and graduated from Kelly Walsh High School in 2002.

Brandon and Tara meet the fall of 2002 driving Cy Ave and hanging out in Smiths parking lot. After dating for a few years they moved in together. August of 2005 they were blessed with their first son Issiah. That Christmas Brandon got down on one knee and proposed marriage to Tara. June 2007 they were blessed with their second son Noah. Brandon and Tara were united in marriage on November 2nd, 2009. September 2011 they were blessed with their daughter Brooklyn.

Brandon worked for Burger King and Hamburger Stand while in high school. After graduating he worked at Dave's Automotive. He then worked for Pacheco corporation remodeling federal buildings. Summer 2008 he went to work for Hunting Energy services and earned his level 2 inspector certification. He really enjoyed working at Hunting and many of his coworkers became like brothers and sisters. He worked there until his unfortunate lay off June 2020.

In 2017 Brandon and Tara started construction for a new house on the family ranch. In spring 2018 they were finally able to move in with their 3 kids and 3 dogs. Delta Brandon's 4 legged sidekick would be by his side wherever he went. They were finally able to get all the animals they wanted! Started with pigs then expanded to chickens and a turkey. Brandon loved the freedom of being able to shoot prairie dogs just out the back door.

Brandon loved the fall. It was his favorite time of year. He couldn't wait to go hunting for big game. When he wasn't hunting he was fishing the mountain creeks. Summer was his second favorite time of year. That meant family camping trips, fishing the lakes and mountain streams, and enjoying campfires with s'mores.

Brandon was a family man. He was an amazing husband, dad, brother, son and uncle. If he wasn't at work he was with his family. He loved spending time with Tara and the kids. They enjoyed a lot of lazy weekend mornings cooking big breakfasts and spending time together as a family. Many happy times were spent watching movies and having snacks.

Some of Issiah's favorite memories are when dad would pick him up from school. Dad would "blow black smoke" from the big black dodge. They would turn the music up loud and attempt to get other diesel trucks to race them.

Some of Noah's favorite memories are building with dad, attempting to build an above ground swimming pool that only ended in a flood! Also building the coop for the chickens.

Some of Brooklyn's favorite memories are creek fishing and just throwing the fish out so fast he couldn't keep up. They also loved tickling each other and laughing until their cheeks hurt.

Brandon is survived by his loving wife Tara, his sons Issiah and Noah and daughter Brooklyn, his brother Justin, his mom Vicky, his dad Ronald, his Nana Norma Closson, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was proceeded in death by his maternal grandfather Eldred Closson and his paternal grandparents Emery and Marion Middaugh.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. When a date has been determined it will be posted on Facebook.
