Bonnie Jean Petersen, 70, of Casper, Wyoming passed away Monday, June 1, 2020 at her home in Casper, WY. She was born April 9, 1950 in Sharon, ND to George Hagle and Donna (Bill) Hoffhine.
Bonnie was a beautiful loving kind soul she will dearly missed by all of her friends and family, she never met a stranger and showed her kindness by being the peacemaker of the family. Bonnie was a loving wife to Pete. They would be celebrating 22 years together in August, he will forever miss his true other half. Bonnie lived to love her three children and continued to be friends with the kids father and stepmother(mom) Larry and Susie Nicholson.
She worked numerous places throughout her life and was loved by everyone who met her. She began her career at Moonlight, Paradise Valley Country Club, Horseshoe Bar and retired from Bi-rite. She was so proud to continue her education and accomplished receiving her GED from Casper College May 18, 2001. Bonnie was an avid football fan and loved her Broncos. She mostly enjoyed gambling trips with her family.
She preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Barbara Gehrett and Beverly Bryan; and one brother, Darrell Hagle.
She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Pete; children, Dawn Foreman, Larry (Vicky) Nicholson, and Lori (Todd) Martin; Stepchildren, Kaye Petersen and David (Nancy) Petersen; grandchildren, J.R. Foreman, Christopher (Brooke) Martin, Stephanie Martin, Misty Martin, Thomas (Katie) Nicholson, Charles Nicholson, and Mike Petersen; numerous great grandchildren; siblings, Dean (Renita) Hagle, Beth Russell, Mari (Steve) Richardson and David Hagle.
Please join the family on Friday, June 5, 2020 at the Newcomer Casper Chapel from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM. The family will host a Celebration of Bonnie's Life at 11:00 AM, Monday, June 8, 2020 at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 306 North Durbin Street, Casper, Wyoming, please stay for the reception that will follow the service at the Lodge.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations be made to the National Breast Cancer Foundation in Bonnie's name.
