Bobby Ray Pate, 78, passed away on November 8th, 2011 after battling with cancer.
Bob was born in Yale, Oklahoma. He grew up in Crossville, Illinois and dreamed of moving west to the mountains. He moved to Casper, Wyoming in 1965 and worked in the Natural Gas Processing business, building and operating plants throughout Wyoming, Montana and Texas until his retirement in 2000.
He and his wife Sue, of 50 years, fulfilled their dreams with a cabin on Union Pass near Dubois, Wyoming where they spent many days enjoying the mountains. In 2002, upon Sue's death, he moved to their cabin where he has resided since.
Bob is survived by; his son, Steven Pate of Casper, Wyoming, son Bradley Pate and wife Julie of Casper, Wyoming; grandson, Bronson Pate of Denver, Colorado; granddaughters Cynthia Pate of Mesa, Arizona and Melodi Pate of Casper, Wyoming.
MEMORIAL SERVICE: A celebration of Bob's life will be held on Saturday, November 12th, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Newcomer Family Funeral Home, 710 E. 2nd St., Casper, WY 82601.
