Life celebration for Bob L. Ward will take place on Sat., April 2, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Bob lived a full life-full of love & lots of friends and will be missed by all. He was born in Willard, Utah to David & Marie Ward on June 13, 1930, graduated high school in Bringham City, Utah and received an Associates Degree from Casper College.
Bob worked as a delivery service for Wig Wam & Blue Bunny companies here in Casper, he sold advertising for KVOC radio, and his brother Dick and himself had Wards Tato Rings for several years. Bob also served in the Army National Guard in service to his country. A true patriot!
Bob loved the outdoors. He loved to fish and golf. He had a beautiful yard and wonderful vegetable garden.
Bob always believed he couldn't change the direction of the wind, but that he could adjust his sails to always reach his destination. His work is done here and he has received and offer he could not refuse, for an appointment from which he will not return. We will remember his energy, zest for life, but most of all his humor & wit.
Bob leaves behind a niece and the love of his life, Frances Dee Ward of almost 60 years and many, many friends. Everyone who remembers Bob is asked instead of flowers, Bob would hope that you will do an unexpected and unsolicited act of kindness for some poor unfortunate soul in his name. Donations in his honor can be made to Central Wyoming Hospice or Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
