Billie Jo King, 60, of Casper, passed away July 1, 2010 after losing her courageous battle with cancer.
She was born July 28, 1949 in Casper , Wyoming, the daughter of Fred and Donna Grubtill Santistevan. She was a graduate of Natrona County High School in 1967. She was united in marriage to Charles King Aug. 2, 1982 in Long Beach, Washington. She worked throughout the years in Hotel and Country Club management in the pacific northwest as well as the past decade in Tucson, AZ. Her passions included interior decorating, gardening, reading and spending time with grandchildren, family and her love for dogs. She was an active member of the Casper Troopers for many years.
Survivors include her husband, Charles, son, Chris of Tuscon, AZ, mother, Donna Santistevan of Casper , two grandchildren, 2 brothers, Fred of New Orleans, LA and Chris and his wife Elsa of Casper, WY, two sisters, Kathy Jackson and her husband Ron of Casper and Carla Santistevan of Yreka, CA and the Joe Moreno family of Laramie, WY and numerous nieces and nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father and a sister Joy Lee.
Memorial services will be Thursday, July 8, 2010, 1:00 PM at St. Patrick's Catholic Church with Father August Koeune officiating. The family will receive friends at the Newcomer Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 6, 2010 from 7 to 8 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to Central Wyoming Hospice Home or the Casper Humane Society.
