Bert W Stoneking, age 76, of Glenrock, Wyoming, passed away December 20th, 2022 at Berts Insanity Acres, where he called home his favorite place.
He was born August 2nd 1946 in Torrington, WY to Elmer and Ruby Stoneking. The family then moved to Casper, WY, when he was two years old. While growing up, he spent time with his many siblings and he enjoyed hunting with his dad, and brothers. He graduated from Natrona County High School in 1964.He served six years in the Wyoming Army National Guard and later met Sheryl they were married for 16 years and added a son Max Stoneking to their family in those years. He had many talents as heavy equipment operator, journeyman electrician, oil field, and a coast-to-coast truck driver. When he wasn't working, the greatest love was being Max's dad, and getting to race stock cars in Casper and Sprint cars in Oklahoma City. He was always ready for a party or up to do anything anyone wanted to do.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Max and Bailey Stoneking of Atlanta, GA. Two sisters, Sylvia Raver and Lola Stoneking of Casper, Wy, four brothers, Jim of Mills, Wy, Orvie of Glenrock, Wy, Roger and Eileen of Mesquite NV, Wayne of Oklahoma City, OK, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his Father, Elmer Stoneking Casper Wy, Mother Ruby Stoneking of Casper Wy, and brother Clyde, of Monett, Missouri.
Memorial is being held August 12th 2023 10:00 am in the arena at 32 North Monkey Rd Glenrock, Wyoming.
