Life History: Bernice moved to Casper June 1923 with her mother and Stepfather, S.T. Krebs
who died May 17. 1943.
She attended grade school in Casper and graduated from Natrona County High School in 1931.
She was a saleslady for the Sweetbriar Shop for a number of years before her marriage.
She married John W. Chancellor August 5th 1945 in Casper. He worked for Texaco Refinery as a Chemist for most of his life. He died on November 8th 1987.
They were longtime active members of the First United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women
and served on many committees for both.
She also was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and received the masters degree and Golden Circle award for her 50 years of active membership.
She was a member of Rebekah Lodge 113, The Thrifty Ann's Homemaker club and was affiliated with Wyoming Epsilon Master Chapter at the time of her death.
She loved traveling with her niece and husband (Pat and Lee).
She supported Meals on Wheels especially The Frog Project.
She loved spending time with her friends and she will be missed by all who knew.
