Bella Enrile

July 28, 1959 — August 25, 2024

Rawlins

Bella Enrile peacefully joined our Creator on Sunday, August 25, 2024, surrounded by her family. She had been a patient at the Banner Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, Wyoming, for several days. She was 65 years of age.

Loved by many as “Bing,” she was born on July 28, 1959, in Calauag, Quezon, Philippines. Her parents were Celso Jangad and Belen (Tan) Bendoy.

Bing attended St. Anne’s Academy in Santa Ana, Metro Manila in the Philippines from grade school through high school. She was fluent in three languages - Tagalog, Bisaya, and English. After graduation, Bing went to Cora Doloroso Modeling School in Makati Metro Manila for two years where she studied secretarial skills and modeling.

Bing was a great singer, a joker, and the life of the party. She treasured spending time with family and close friends.

Bing became an entertainer. She and her sisters started an all girl band in 1976. Her oldest sister, Belma, was the drummer, Belenda was the keyboardist and lead singer, Bing played the guitar and also did vocals, and Belena was the bass player and contributed to the vocals. They toured Japan and Guam. When they were all home, all four sisters were the main vocalists of a famous band in Manila. After her sister Belenda got married, Bing continued to tour Abu Dhabi and sang in a local band in Manila.

Bing married Romeo Enrile on August 15, 1983. They had three children, Robell “Robby”, Robellynn “Mimi”, and Romell “Moi.” Bing was a loving wife and mother. She was a natural-born nurturer who loved taking care of others. Her husband, Romeo Enrile, passed away on August 16, 2005. Bing continued to be the rock for her family.

Bing met her second husband, John Itzen, through her cousin Wilma Henderson. Bing and John were married on February 14, 2014 in Rawlins, Wyoming.

Bing was a phenomenal cook. She loved to prepare Filipino dishes like Adobo and tuna. She also loved making grilled cheese sandwiches. Bing had a sweet tooth! She loved candy and lately had been obsessed with Mentos.

For entertainment, Bing adored action movies. One of her favorites was the Keanu Reeves’s movie Speed. Bing also enjoyed watching movies like Love Story and Notting Hill with Julia Roberts. When she was with family and friends, Bing loved doing Karaoke.

Bing is survived by her second husband, John Itzen, and her children and their families: son Robell “Robby” Enrile and his wife Rachel Advincula and their children Sopitia Anne Enrile, Rob Perseus Enrile, Bellize Anne Enrile, and Princess Adincula; daughter Robellynn “Mimi” Sandiego and her husband Andre Sandiego and their children Ysabelle Charlot Enrile, Vince Jayden Enrile, and Alonso Sandiego; son Romell “Moi” Enrile and his wife Pia Marie Enrile and their children Franz Nathan Enrile and Amara Francine Enrile. Bing is also survived by her sisters Belie Tan Sütterlin, Belenda Tan Fortine, Belena Tan Kawashima, and Belna Tana Tolentino as well as her brother, Celso Tan Bendoy III.

Bing was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Romeo Enrile, her brothers Celso Tan Bendoy I and Celso Tan Bendoy II, and her sister Belma Tan Miller.

Bing will be truly missed by her family and friends. She will be forever in our hearts.
