It is with heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Bebe Helgeson, 72, on April 12, 2022. She passed away after a long battle with Alzheimer's. She was ready and excited to be with her Lord and Savior.
Bebe Berdine Cummings was born on July 14, 1949, in Basin, Wy. She married Wes Helgeson on May 20, 1978. Wes was a loving husband that cared for her until the end.
As a young adult she came to love Jesus. She would often say "Loving Jesus changed her life." She loved studying God's word and felt lucky we are all forgiven through His grace.
Bebe loved her children, Shane, Pepper, and Zac. She was that mom that immersed herself in all activities. From either decorating the school bus before leaving for state meets or organizing the concession stands for wrestling or spoiling friends and family with special, individualized care packages. And we can't forget how lucky she felt for the addition of Angie, Randal and Jake.
She especially loved her grandchildren, Cynthia, Braden, and Natalie. They were the real apple of her eye. If you knew her, you knew how proud of each one of them she was.
Bebe loved to laugh. She loved making others laugh. She was often known as a jokester with April Fool's being her second favorite holiday. Some common sayings of hers were, "It's just ducky!" or "I am glad you got to see me!"
She was incredibly generous with her time and gifts. She has many friends that see her as family.
Bebe is survived by her husband, Wes Helgeson; son, Shane (Angela) Nelson, daughter, Pepper (Randal) Jo Six and son, Zac Helgeson; granddaughter, Cynthia (Jake) Smith (Nelson); grandson, Braden Six; and granddaughter Natalie Six.
This Easter will be extra special knowing that she will be united with Christ, singing her favorite hymns, "To God be the Glory" and "Lord Most High". Sing loud, mom! You will be missed.
