CASPER -- A memorial service for Barbara "Bobbie" Lisco, 82, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2008, at the Shepherd of the Hills Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Lynn Williamson officiating.
Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
She died surrounded by her loved ones at her home on Saturday, Jan. 12, 2008.
She was born on May 12, 1925, to Charles Creed Worth and Emma Garrett in Breckenridge, Texas.
She met Richard "Dick" Lisco at the University of Colorado and they were married on Nov. 3, 1945. They were true soul mates and enjoyed 61 years of blissful marriage. She cherished her family foremost and loved them above all else. Her three daughters feel incredibly blessed to have been raised and loved by such an incredible and inspirational woman. Her grandchildren always knew in their hearts that their Nana was their biggest cheerleader.
She served on the YMCA board of directors, was president of the Casper Service League, president of the Casper Country Club Ladies Golf Association, president of the El Marko Ladies Bowling League, president of the Geo Wives, and was an active member of the Petroleum Club.
She and her husband hosted Rotary exchange students from Brazil, Mexico and Sweden. She opened her home for events including the Trooper Christmas House and the Canadian Ski team for the Can-Am Races.
Her favorite hobby was photography, for which she won many awards. Her favorite pastime was playing cards with her friends.
Survivors include her brother and his wife, Charles Worth and his wife of San Rafael, Calif.; and her three daughters, Cody Anderson and her husband, Kelly Taubert and her husband, and Kim Fedore and her husband.
She was preceded in death by her husband.
