Anthony "Tony" Ray Thompson, age 74, of Evansville, Wyoming passed away November 18, 2016 at his home. Anthony was born January 23, 1942 in Miles City, Montana to Frank (also known as Blanchard Walton) and Barbara (Schantz) Thompson. Tony was enlisted with the Army National Guard from 1962 until 1968 when he was honorably discharged. While living in Montana, he worked as a chef at Red Rock and Pine Hills Youth Correction Facility. In the 1980's, Tony moved to Casper, Wyoming to work for Teton Exploration as a driller. Thereafter, he went to work for Plow's Diner for over 20 years as a chef. Anthony was a member of the American Legion and the VFW Auxiliary 9439. Tony was an avid Bronco's fan and he loved to hunt, fish, and garden.
Tony was preceded in death by his parents, his infant older brother, and his brothers, Robert, James, and Frank.
He is survived by his life-long partner, Rose Thompson; sons, Anthony "Tony" (Serenity) Thompson and Scott (Shannan) Thompson; Daughter, Sheri Stewart; step-son, Robert (Brenda) Vincent; step-daughters, Karrie (Dion) Doherty, Rowenda (Mike) Dellisanti, and Randee Beck; Sister, Barbara (Jim) Janssen; brothers, Donald, Gary (Raylene), Dennis (Debbie), and David Thompson; and grandchildren, Jack Thompson, Lynda Boston, Kailee, Kacie, Katee, and Kassidy Thompson.
A Celebration of Life will be held 1:00pm, Saturday, December 17, 2016 at VFW 9439 Auxiliary, 1800 Bryan Stock Trail, Casper, WY, 82601.
