Annita Neubauer

July 4, 1932 — January 21, 2018

Annita Ealum Neubauer, age 85, of Alcova, Wyoming, passed away peacefully with family by her side on
January 21, 2018, at her home in Alcova.

Annita was born July 4, 1932, in Altus, Oklahoma to James and Juanita (Anderson) Ealum. Born on
Independence Day, she truly was an independent woman ahead of her time and quite the "pistol." She
spent her childhood in Illinois and upon graduation moved to Oklahoma. Annita married and started a
family of three daughters of whom she loved and was very proud of. Moving to Wyoming in 1968 with
her daughters she began her career in the Oil and Gas Industry. She was a dedicated Executive Assistant
at Marathon Oil for many years and completed her career and retired with McMurray Oil in 1997.

Annita met and married the "Love of Her Life" Hank Neubauer on February 6, 2004.

In her free time, Annita enjoyed bowling (especially in costume), acting and singing in "The Red Dog
Saloon Players," traveling with her husband to many destinations and events, gardening, music and
dancing, and boating on Alcova. Arguably one of the Wyoming Cowboys and Cowgirls biggest fans,
Annita was a long time member and supporter of the "Cowboy Joe Club". She freely shared her gifts for
design, décor, and organization, with an eye for detail. Being the giving person that Annita was, if she
saw a need, it was met. In her later years, if she wasn't revelling at a Wyoming Cowboy's game, watching
the Denver Broncos or traveling with her husband, Annita would be found spending time with her family
and friends, relaxing by the fire pit with a glass of wine…and, of course, shopping.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 14 years, Henry "Hank" Neubauer, daughters;
Shirley Ann (McKenna) Bower, Julie Kathleen (McKenna) Prentice, Karla Sue and Joe Vinson, step-son
Vaughn Neubauer, step-daughter Nikki Neubauer Joslyn, grandsons; Dustin Bower, William Bower, Keith
Miller and Michael Prentice, grand-daughter Courtney Prentice, great-granddaughters Anjel Bower,
Karina Miller, great-grandsons Richard Miller and Xander Bower, step-grandsons Austin Joslyn and
Deaton Joslyn, Oskar Neubauer and William Neubauer.

Annita you were a strong, beautiful soul who will be missed dearly for your kindness, humor, and
forthright nature. As you wished, a "Celebration of Life" for friends and family will be held in the very
near future (tba). We love you and we will cherish your memory each day.

A private graveside service was held by the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to "Central Wyoming Hospice" in Annita's memory.
