Ann Manka, age 92, died on February 4, 2017 at the Life Care Center in Casper, WY. She was born to the late Nicola and Stana Bukovich on April 20, 1924 in Keewatin, MN. Ann graduated from Hibbing High School in MN. After high school she worked in Chicago, IL and was an original "Rosie the Riveter" to support the World War II effort. After the war she married George Dicklich and started a family in Kinney and Buhl, MN.
Ann worked as an aide at the Buhl nursing home, as a housewife, a Serbian Sister, and a loving Mother.
She is survived by her four children; Eli and Barb Dicklich, of Casper, WY; Georgann Lanzrath, of Bozeman, MT; Dan and Nancy Dicklich, of New Lisbon, WI; Joan and Garold Nobblit, of Evansville, WY; and five grandchildren; Christy, Lee, Melissa, Nick, Dustin, and Jessie; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her seven brothers and sisters; Dan, Mike, Peter, Eli, Mildred, Mary, and Angeline; and her late husband, Paul Manka.
Funeral services will be held at the Newcomer Funeral Home, at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 13, 2017 followed by a burial at the Oregon Trail State Veterans Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church; 1350 C Street; P.O. Box 1465, Casper, WY, 82602-1465.
