Angela Carabajal
CASPER -- Funeral services for Angela Carabajal, 80, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 13, 2006, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church with Fr. Lucas Simango celebrating. Interment will be in Highland Cemetery.
She died Oct. 9, 2006, at Shepherd of the Valley Care Center.
She was born April 19, 1926, in El Paso, Texas, the daughter of Angelo and Maria (Gonzales) Valesquez.
At an early age, she moved to Torrington with her family. She married John S. Carabajal in Torrington and they were married for 44 years. Her husband died in 1990.
In 1968, they moved to Casper. She worked at Wyoming Medical Center and at Pacific Power Dave Johnston power plant in housekeeping. She was a devoted wife and mother and loved spending time with her family and friends. She liked to play bingo. She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Martha Ramirez of Evansville; three sons, John Carabajal Jr., Leroy Carabajal and Jackie Carabajal Sr., all of Casper; two sisters, Lucy Barajas of Commerce City, Colo., and Eva Reyes of Torrington; two brothers, Steve Valesquez of Denver and Frank Valesquez of Firestone, Colo.; 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two daughters, Mildred Hawks and Darlene Ramirez and a son, Tito Carabajal.
