Angela (Farnes) Holden

January 9, 1984 — June 5, 2024

Angela Lynn (Farnes) Holden, 40, of Casper, Wyoming passed away in her home on Wednesday, June 5th, 2024.

Angie was born on January 9th, 1984, in Casper Wyoming. Angie had such a bright soul and always saw the good in almost everyone. She was a Wiccan who loved nature and always wanted to be outdoors. She was an artist by heart and loved painting murals on the walls of friends and family members.

In her younger years, she was a wild child and could not be contained. Her chosen parents said it seemed like she was always getting in mischief with her family and friends. She didn’t have the easiest life as a child, but she forged her own path. In her later years, she never turned down a good party, enjoyed going to concerts and gathering rocks for her collection. She loved crocheting gifts for her family, especially the babies. She enjoyed a good gossip session and was always there when her children needed a shoulder to lean on. She had a huge heart and loved a lot in life but most of all she loved watching her children grow into themselves, especially her two-year-old granddaughter. She always said that being a mother was an amazing experience but becoming a grandmother was a special type of love.

She began her family young, welcoming her first daughter in 2002, quickly followed by her second daughter in 2004. After separating from her first husband, she completed her family with the arrival of her wonder twins in 2007 and her youngest son in 2009. Her family grew once more with the arrival of her granddaughter in 2021. She prioritized the family she created, putting them above anything and anyone.

She was preceded in death by her Grandpa Clyde, Bumpa (Gregory Holden), and her niece Lillie Holden. She is survived by her three daughters, Jasmine (Preston) Poochigian, Robin (Ayden) Holden, and Alayla Gates; her two sons Artorious Gates and Adonious Gates; her granddaughter, or as she would call her, G-baby, Arabella Poochigian; and her two brothers (Adam and Aaron Farnes) as well as many other loving family members. She was surrounded in life by so many people who loved her, and she will be deeply missed.

“Nature’s first green is gold,

Her hardest hue to hold,

Her early leaf’s a flower;

But only so an hour.

Then leaf subsides to leaf.

So Eden sank to grief,

So dawn goes down to day.

Nothing gold can stay”

Robert Frost’s Nothing Gold Can Stay.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made towards the service cost to Newcomer Funeral Home. Service information will be updated shortly.
