Alice Palmer was born in Pana, Illinois on October 18, 1913, the daughter of Lawrence James Lynch and Lydia Wright Lynch and died on October 19, 2014 in Casper, Wyoming. She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Palmer; three brothers, William, Lawrence and Frank Lynch; and sister, Cecelia Lynch Barnard.
She leaves two sons, Ronald Palmer of Santa Fe, New Mexico and Dale Palmer of Delta, Utah and daughter Alice Anne Palmer of Casper, Wyoming, six grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and thirteen great-great-grandchildren.
Alice Palmer had an adventurous life, living in various states in the United States as well as Venezuela and Canada. She had lived in Casper since 1959. She was an avid gardener, rock hound and bridge player. She kept busy by volunteering in Girl Scouts, the Casper Troopers, the Presbyterian Women's Group and in the Presbyterian Church.
She was proud of her Irish heritage and passed her pride and memories to her grandchildren and many descendants. She will be greatly missed.
A memorial service was held at the First Presbyterian Church in Casper on October 23, 2014 and interment will be held in the Lynwood Cemetery in Pana, Illinois.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her name to the First Presbyterian Church of Casper.
