Albert Edwin Lundblade (Big Al) joined his creator in paradise on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at the young age of 55 from a heart attack. He was born March 31, 1965 in Denver, CO to father Lewis Lundblade and mother Nancy Jones. In 1988 Big Al met his wife, best friend and soul mate Becky Jo McQueary. This year they celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary.
Big Al was the proudest father ever when he and Becky were blessed with their only daughter Ashley Carol Lorraine in October 1991. Following the lead of his best friends Tom, Chrissie Rosenof and God, Big Al moved his family to Casper in the fall of 1993. Al proudly worked for Wotco-Westec Company and Wyoming Machinery Company. He and Becky along with the Rosenof's operated "Your First Steps" a Child's Learning Center-Childcare and preschool for 16 years. Caring and loving many children of Casper. His most recent employment was with Baker Hughes. Big Al was a true "Jack of all trades and a master to many … Love, Forgiveness, Patience and BIG HUGS" .. Just to name a few. He was a great teacher of many skills. Recently, he taught his wife how to winterize the camper via phone chat. One of the many skills he taught his daughter was how to service her lawn mower, how to weld, build engines and to be strong. What a great man he was. He always found the best in people. He believed in second chances. "He was a creator of BIG ideas" He was overflowing with love and kindness. Always ready to be spontaneous and go on an adventure. Al "had a child-like way of having fun." Always wanting to make people laugh and wanting his loved ones to be proud of him. Al's smell of cologne would fill the house and linger on you after a great big hug. You — Big Al will be missed. Al loved to go camping, bicycle riding, four wheeling, fishing and motorcycle riding. The mountains were always calling his name. He loved to cook, make homemade bread, peanut butter cookies and green chili. He loved to spend time with friends and family. He loved and missed his early years of dirt track racing and the smell of racing fuel. Al was proud to be called a son, brother, husband, dad, uncle (Unkie), father-in-law, Grandpa, friend and disciple of Christ. If Al was here right now he would say … "Where's my hug?", "Hi pretty girl" and "I love you babe". Al will be missed by his mother Nancy (Bill) Nation, father Lewis Lundblade and Caroline Hake. His little brother Mike, his wife Elaine, Matt and Jeromy. Becky, Ashley, Ty and Valli. Tom, Chrissie and Gladys. Werner, Sadie, Maylin and Darbi. Brenda, Troy, Jazzy, Mayleen, Eric, Byron and Sanee. Along with two beautiful great nieces Nadia and Olivia. Several aunts, uncles, cousins and many extended family members, friends and "daycare babies".
