Donna Hult

Donna was born January
4, 1967 in Casper, Wyoming,
where she was raised. She
passed away on September 25,
2011 after a three-year battle
with Breast Cancer. She is
survived by her parents Leo and Mary Sanchez, husband
Paul Hult, three children, Kelcie Gibson, Ryan Eidsness
and Emily Eidsness, son-in-law Brandon Gibson and
two grandchildren, Breckyn and Brynlie Gibson, all
of Casper. She also has two brothers, Richard Sanchez
and wife Heidi of Buffalo, Wyoming and Mark Sanchez,
wife Trisha, nieces Codi and Lexi, and nephew Tyler of
Casper.

Paul has been a special person in her life at a time
when the Cancer began to take its toll. He has been
a faithful companion to Donna and vital support for
Kelcie, Ryan, Emily, Breckyn and Brynlie.
Donna has been employed as a teacher in the Natrona
County School District for over 15 years. She taught
at Oregon Trail, Poison Spider, and finally at Mills
Elementary for the past 10 years. In her capacity as a
teacher, she was active in extra school activities. She
strived to demonstrate different facets of life to her
students, often taking them on excursions and expanding
their horizons beyond the classroom. She was vigilant
in seeking out students that needed that extra special
attention, as she provided a safe atmosphere for young
people.

A 1985 graduate of Kelly Walsh High School, Donna
earned her degree in Elementary Education from the
University of Wyoming in 1991, followed by a Master's
Degree in 2000.

She was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, friend
and teacher. She was a happy individual whom friends
and acquaintances described as being able to light up a
room when she entered. Her personality was such that
she attracted people to her like a magnet. She enjoyed
both summer and winter sports, especially getting her
grandson to snowboard when he was two. Each spring
break was spent at a ski run, where she and her family
would enjoy a week of celebrating family life. Her
favorite place in the summer was at the lake, where
friends were constantly dropping by for a boat ride, card
games and something to eat. She was a magnificent
cook and a gracious hostess. Her favorite time at the
lake was on the Fourth of July, when friends would
gather on the deck to feast and enjoy the best fireworks
show in Wyoming.
