Diana Garcia

February 18, 1951 — June 25, 2024

Diana Lynn Garcia, 73, Casper, Wyoming passed away at Shepherd of the Valley on June 25, 2024. Diana was born on February 18, 1951, in Riverton, Wyoming to Virginia Borgialli and James Farris.

Diana was the second oldest of 6 children. She had 4 brothers and a sister; Richard, Linda, Tracy, Randy, and James(Mitch). Diana graduated from Kelly Walsh in Casper, Wyoming. Diana was a lifelong Wyoming resident and mainly resided in Casper, Gillette, and Douglas.

Diana had a great reputation at Plains Diner in Douglas, Wyoming. She was known for her food, coffee, and hospitality. There she met many friends by being the social butterfly she was. The Plains Diner was where you could find Diana since that diner was near and dear to her heart. When she wasn’t there she was a loving and devoted mother to her three daughters; Cheryl, Brandi, and Amanda. To pass the time she would read and crochet. Diana was a collector of eagles and Indian paraphilia. She was also a huge fan of John Travolta and loved his movie Urban Cowboy. Her smile was always genuine and her laugh was contagious. She was definitely stubborn but that was one of her best qualities. She had this warm embrace but when she gave you a look you knew you were busted. All in all she was a very wise woman she would say “If you don’t have faith, you don’t have nothing at all”.

She is preceded in death by her husband Earl Curtis, mother Virginia Borgialli, her father James Farris, her grandmother Alice Lund, her brother James (Mitch) Farris, and her granddaughter Jazmin Castillo.

She is survived by her siblings- Linda (Marvin) James, Richard (Diane) Farris, Tracy Johnson and Randy (Randi) Pogue. 3 children- Cheryl (Jose) Castillo, Brandi Castillo Castillo, and Amanda (Genaro) Vazquez Garcia. 7 Grandchildren- Dustin Gray, Noemy Castillo, Elsa Garcia, Antonio Vazquez Garcia, Arianna Vazquez Garcia, Jayden Castillo, and Memo Castillo Castillo. 5 Great Grandchildren- Jacoby Gray, Ryder Midkiff, Javonni Moss Garcia, Enzo Gray, Jenni Moss Garcia.
