Joyce Alsobrooks, 80, of Casper, passed away on May 30, 2024. She was born on July 11, 1943 in Highland Park, Illinois to the late Walter and Doris Sticken.
Joyce was very generous, hard working and a very private person. She enjoyed going for drives in her convertible, learning to cross-county ski, working with Frank on his construction projects, playfully getting under Alan’s skin, playing cards, and doing puzzles with her family. Joyce always set aside an hour a day to enjoy her favorite soap opera, Days of Our Lives, so “Like sands through the hourglass, so are the days of our lives.”
Joyce is survived by two daughters Deborah (Frank) Wingfield, and De Anna (Alan) Corey, grandchildren Ashley, Paige, Peyton, Jaxon and Kinsley, great-grandchildren Dani and Carson, sister LaVerne Curley and nephew Paul Curley. She is preceded in death by a brother Walter Sticken Jr. and son Daniel Ripley.
There will be a private family gathering this summer. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Central Wyoming Hospice and Transitions or Casper Humane Society.
