Barbara "Bobbie" Lou Ross died on May 21, 2024, in Casper, WY, at the age of 88.
She was born October 23,1935 to Charles and Cecile Rogers, in Casper, WY, of which she was a lifelong resident, short of several winters spent in Crawford, TX.
She graduated from Natrona County Highschool in 1954.
She married Marvin Overacre Ross on January 16, 1955 and they had two children Roger R. and Rita R. Ross.
She was an accomplished artist, having completed commissioned pieces, sold prints of her pencil collection, authored and illustrated a sheltie grooming book. She was a professional dog breeder, handler and judge. Titling multiple dogs in conformation, obedience, agility and herding. She was working with her dog JoJo and herding sheep until her death. She was unbelievably determined; the jack of many trades and the master of them all!
She is preceded in death by her parents
Charles and Cecile Rogers, her husband of 42 years, Marvin Overacre Ross and sister Dorothy "Dody" Marie Brown.
She is survived by her brother Ronald "Ronny" Rogers of Buellton Calif. Her son Roger (Staci) Ross of Cheyenne, WY. Her daughter Rita Snodgrass of Evansville, WY.
Grandchildren Dusty (Jordan) Dupree of Moore, MT. Emmy (Daniel) Jenson of Willow Springs, MO. Great Grand Children; Colter, Madison, Braedyn, Jettson, Jase and Jax. Several nephews, nieces and many, many friends across the country.
At her request no formal services will be held.
