Thomas Fredrick Jeffers, 74, of Evansville, Wyoming passed away Sunday, April 28, 2024.
Thomas was born May 16, 1949 in the Bronx, New York, the only son of Oliver Paul and Elsie (Krumes) Jeffers. His father remarried Marilyn Miller after the death of his first wife and became Tom's beloved stepmother.
The family moved to Illinois where Tom graduated from high school where he enjoyed wrestling. Tom met the love of his life, Sonja T. Kerzan, and they married on May 23, 1970. They made their home in Illinois and started their family, welcoming son, Tommy; and daughter, Lori. A business opportunity brought them first to Douglas, Wyoming and finally to Casper in 1980.
Tom owned Tom's Dairy Service delivering milk throughout the community until his retirement in 2015. He made lasting relationships and friendships with so many people. Tom was a phenomenal craftsman - woodworking being his passion. He enjoyed fishing, boating, camping, and most especially time with family. His Catholic faith was important to him. After retiring Tom finally talked Sonja into taking a European cruise, which was one of the best things they ever did.
He was preceded in death by his mother; father; beloved grandparents; aunt, Katrina Krumes; numerous aunts and uncles; and his son, Tommy.
Tom is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Sonja; daughter, Lori (Jim) Baragar; stepmother, Marilyn; and grandson, Hayden (his greatest joy); niece, Mandy (Greg) Theuret and family.
