Judy Ann Ackerman, 62 of Casper, Wyoming passed away Thursday March 7th, 2024.
She was born in Boulder, Colorado on 01/22/1962 to Roger and Patricia Bassett. She was married to Thomas Ackerman on 01/23/1982.
She owned Teddy Bear Day Care where she was motivated by her love of children and instilling values and morals in them. Later she worked as an Elementary School Librarian where she would combine her fondness of helping children with her love of books and discussing words.
She was always interested in people's middle names, and she often called many friends by their first and middle names.
She is survived by her spouse Thomas Alexander Ackerman, their children Nathan Andrew Ackerman, Jeron Alexander Ackerman, Tamaysha April Diane Garza and Grandson Gideon Thomas Ackerman. She is also survived by her sisters Laura Meek and Teresa Bajor, as well as her brothers Dale Bassett and Gene Bassett.
A memorial service is scheduled for 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 16th, 2024 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1101 Wilkins Circle, Casper, WY 82601.
