Deborah Ann Collins 67 passed away Saturday, January 27, surrounded by family at her home in Casper. WY. Her strength of character and toughness of spirit were apparent until the end.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00p.m. Friday, February 9, at the Church of Christ 2344 East Second Street Casper, WY.
Debi was born July 8, 1956, in Wichita Falls, Texas, the daughter of Clifford Gene and Claudette (Noles) Blair. She grew up in Texas and New Mexico and graduated High School in Holiday, Texas in 1974. Debi met her husband Casey while working for the True Companies. They were married August 3, 1979. They had Two children, Calvin and Christy the true loves of her life.
Debi had many passions that she would totally immerse herself in. Hockey taking up over 20 wonderful years of her life. A woman from Texas saw her children fall in love with ice skating and hockey. She became a hockey player, coach of " the little kids", referee, board member, and USA Hockey registrar for Wyoming (for 20 years). Running the pro shop at the Casper ice arena for many years This passion for life came through in everything she did.
Debi's love for animals was amazing to all that knew her. We had saltwater fish, freshwater fish, guinea pigs, chinchilla, rabbits, turtles, snakes, iguanas, a parrot, a lamb, and many dogs and cats.
Debi enjoyed traveling and over the years was able to take many trips with the kids and Casey. They were able to visit many countries and see a large part of the U.S. She was always eager to go on the next trip.
Debi is survived by her husband Casey Collins, son Calvin Collins, and daughter Christy Collins, all of Casper Wyoming. Brother Mark Blair and his wife Maddy from Tridell, UT.
