Flora Jean Drazick passed away December 2, 2023. She was born on September 17, 1939 in San Bernardino, CA to Ray and Florence Mallet. She went to school in Fresno, CA and graduated in 1957 from Roosevelt High. She met Ramon Drazick, and after a few months, they went to see the movie "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" then decided to elope. They were married 45 years. She was a true California girl at heart, always fussed about the weather in Wyoming. You could hear her say "Well in California…"
Ray and Jeannie raised 3 children: Marc, Tony, and Michele. In 1978 they moved to Casper where she had various jobs throughout her life. She was a LVN at Valley Medical in Fresno, during her years at JCPenney she made several friends. She retired from JCPenney after 20 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ray, and brother Jerry.
She is survived by her 3 children Marc (Dee Ann), Tony (Davina), and Michele Luckow; brother Gordon Mallet; grandchildren Michael (Sheyenne), Marcus Drazick, Kody Luckow (Lacee), Tommy Drazick, and Christina Wolfe (Michael); great-grandchildren Oakley, Rosie, James, Lily, and Violet; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She enjoyed watching her grandchildren at all sporting events. She was a professional shopper, finding great deals and forgetting to stop for lunch because she had too many stores to get to. Our home was very stylish and trendy. She found the best home décor when she went "junkin."
Our mom was always dressed to the nines. Her hair and makeup always had to be done perfectly. She always had pets she would sneak in – a kitten or puppy and hide it from Ray. Her favorites were always her yorkies.
A visitation will be held from 10 AM – 12 PM on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at Newcomer Funeral Home in Casper. She will be laid to rest at Highland Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made out to the Casper Humane Society in Jeannie's name.
