Rick Clayton Bolinger, 58, of Casper, passed away Thursday November 30th, 2023, at Central Wyoming Hospice after a courageous battle after a severe stroke.
He was born to the late Richard Butler and Shirley Hoyle, September 28th 1965 in San Bernardino, CA. He was later adopted by his grandparents, Bernard and Bernice Bolinger of Lusk, WY where he had an amazing childhood with many friends and family along the way.
In February 2000 Rick and Julie Wilkinson, welcomed a daughter into the world, Jessica Bolinger, also of Casper.
Rick moved to Douglas in 2001, where he met and married his wife the love of his life, Samantha Bolinger. They had many great adventures and memories together, including fishing, hunting, the love of outdoors, bowling at Galloway's on friday night leagues and even a little gambling in Deadwood and Wyoming Downs along the way.
Rick and Sami moved to Casper in 2006 where Rick soon after started working at Casper Fire Extinguisher, where he became a Kitchen suppression installer and manager with great pride and devotion to his work until the company sold in 2022. He then began working at Holiday Inn Express where his antics and all around great personality was loved by all.
Rick is survived by wife, Samantha Bolinger, daughter Jessica Bolinger all of Casper. Brother Fred Butler of Plains Mt, cousins, Dick and Jennifer Penfield of Lusk, and niece Tonya Butler of Tx, and sister Holli Butler. He is preceded in death by his parents Bernard and Bernice Bolinger, sister Deborah Pfister and brothers Richard Butler, Hayden Butler and Terry Butler.
