David Brooke Knight, of Sheridan, passed away on November 17, 2023.
David was born to Dorothy and George Knight in Brooklyn, New York on March 31, 1946.
After high school in Greenwich, Connecticut, he left the east coast to go on an adventure to attend Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. He never made it back east because he loved his new home.
David's great passion was music. He sang for decades in church choirs, opera choruses, and other choral groups. He met his wife, Ruth, singing in a Master Singers group and they married in 1979. They had one daughter, Jessica.
David and Ruth moved to Wyoming in 2020 to be closer to there daughter because, like her father, she didn't have plans to move back home. He loved living in Sheridan, being active in the senior center.
