Janet Lynn Mulholland, 58, of Casper passed away Saturday May 6, 2023.
She arrived in this world April 23, 1965 to parents Gene and Dorothy Mulholland and was welcomed by an adoring big brother Scott Mulholland, in Laramie, WY. Janet graduated from Natrona County High School in 1983 and received a BS in Finance from the University of Wyoming in 1987. She moved to the Portland Oregon area where she married Roger Hough and they lived together for 28 years and had two children Jordan and Madelyn. Janet moved back to Casper in 2019.
Growing up in Casper, Janet was a cheerleader while attending junior high and high school. After graduation, she continued her education at the University of Wyoming. She was a member of the Pi Beta Phi sorority as well as their treasurer. She spent many Sundays with her big brother studying, doing her laundry, and attending Sunday night spaghetti dinner.
Janet was a credit manager and loan officer in Gresham before getting married. She was a business owner and finance manager while raising her kids, as well as volunteering at their schools and covering the walls with her vinyl wall words. Before leaving the Portland area she worked as a seasonal tax processor and took classes at Portland State University obtaining a certificate of accounting. Upon returning to Casper, she worked as a staff accountant for Leo Riley & Co and was studying for her CPA exam.
Janet had many friends and admirers. She was the subject of several poems and her picture was displayed on billboards and calendars in the Portland area. She was not only beautiful on the outside but also on the inside. Among her many traits she was kind, loving, giving and intelligent. She eloquently expressed her thoughts and feelings.
Janet is so proud of her children. Her son, Jordon Robert Hough, is a nuclear electrician in the United States Navy assigned to the Aircraft Carrier Abraham Lincoln. Her daughter, Madelyn Claire Hough is attending Clackamas Community College with an interest in Psychology and working in a related field.
Janet is survived by her parents, big brother Scott and his wife Monica and her two children Jordan and Madelyn.

Services will be held at Shepherd of the Hills, Casper, Wyoming on Monday, June 5, 2023 at 2:00 PM.
