James (Jim) Robert Glover, 64, of Casper, WY, passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2023 surrounded by family after battling a lengthy illness. He was born June 27, 1958 in Leadville, CO to Carl and Billie Glover.
Jim grew up in Colorado and Montana and, as a man of faith with an adventurous spirit, chose to live his life and raise his family in the West because of his reverence for the outdoors and love of the mountains. His faith and family were the foundations of his life and he lived every day full of joy and thankfulness for all of those around him.
After graduating from the University of Montana, Jim spent the majority of his career as a financial advisor. He devoted his life to helping individuals and families accomplish their goals and dreams and his diligence in helping them achieve financial security was evident through the genuine and long-term connections that resulted with those that had the opportunity to work with him.
Since arriving In Casper in 1984, Jim has been an active member in the Casper business community and was involved in numerous organizations. He was a member of the Certified Financial Planners Association and served on the True Care Foundation board.
He is survived by his wife Susan; his daughter Stephanie, her husband Jeremiah Hensley and their children Elizabeth and Ophelia; his son Nicholas, and his wife Amber; his lifelong friend Dale Clark; his very special Aunt Janet; his brother Daniel, and his wife Alice; and numerous other extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Steven Cass.
A celebration of life and memorial service will be held at Cornerstone Evangelical Free Church, 4100 Casper Mountain Road, on May 20th, 2023 at 2:00pm.
