David Lee Armijo Jr. Age 40
Was born July 8, 1980 in Rawlins, WY. Passed away August 29,2020. in Casper,WY.
After having Diabetes and Kidney failure, David lost the battle to his illness.
His Loving Family were: Parents, David and Frieda Armijo, Daughter, Reina Armijo,
Brothers Matthew Armijo and Isaiah Armijo, Nephews Mateo Armijo, Zaydiah Armijo, Nieces, Lola Armijo and Aspen Armijo, Grandmother (NaNa) Carmen Baldonado.
Aunts and Uncles: Sandy and Roger Martinez, Darlene Lovato, Annie and Bobby Martinez, George and Genieve Herrera, Carmella and Jose Fernandez, Mercy Herrera, Irene and Arthur Martinez, Alfred and LaRee Herrera. Michele Herrera and May Herrera.
And numerous cousins.
My son David was born to us on a warm and sunny day on July 8th 1980. That is what David grew up to be a very warm and friendly person. With beautiful green eyes! If there was anyone that took their shirt off their back for you, it was him. He loved people and always extended his hand out to any one, young or old. David was very caring. He didn't like to hurt peoples feelings, took everybody in rich or poor. He especially loved to hang out with his loving daughter Reina,his queen, whom he called his" baby girl".
He liked shooting his bow. He once competed in target archery and shot a Robin Hood. Larry Kmoch was so surprised and shook David's hand. David was so proud of himself, so were we. He loved hunting with his family, fishing, camping and four wheeling. Loved the outdoors. David will be sadly missed by all.
He was preceded in death by: Uncle Ben Armijo, Grandfather Clyde Baldonado, Cousin Vanessa Armijo, Great Grandfather Lucardo Armijo, Great Grandmother, Dolores (Lola) Maria Armijo, Eliseo Armijo, Aunt Cora Gonzales, Vincent Sanchez, Grandfather Alfred Herrera, Grandmother Mercy Herrera, and Aunt Mary Jane (Herrera) Martinez.
A Memorial Service will be held at Sinclair Park in Sinclair at 11:00am, Monday, September 7, 2020.
